Welcome to the Make Like A Tree Blog
What is Make Like A Tree? Its us: two nine-to-fivers with a passion for travel and adventure; currently stuck in jobs, we have hatched a plan to escape and get out into the real world. Its our antidote to mundanity and the grind of modern life. Its our plan for jacking in the rat race and heading off around the world. A plan to travel by land or by sea where possible and keep flying to a minimum, not only to cut down our carbon footprint but also to actually Travel rather than just Arrive, the very essence of 'slow travel'. This blog will show our preparations, our decisions, the information we find out and ultimately be a diary of the entire venture from its conception to its end and beyond.
